The brief
The brief
Laud Media is a Norwegian technology company that delivers customized audiovisual solutions with the aim of enhancing customer experiences and strengthening brands in physical spaces. They develop, design, install, and support tailored systems for audio and video distribution, digital displays, and interactive solutions that create engagement and inspire users. Laud Media’s visual identity lacked alignment with their vision, values and quality of work. This limited their visibility, and resulted in an unclear position in their industry.

The process
The process
A comprehensive new visual identity was developed, along with an updated communication concept, and a website that highlighted Laud Media’s expertise, culture, and ambitions. The goal was to make them more relevant, more attractive, and easier to understand; both for potential customers and future employees. The visual identity aims to reflect the excitement and expertise within the company. The communication concept “Excitement that sells”, informed every design decision in developing the identity. The result is a logo that clearly positions the brand as a strong contender in the field, hiding an audiovisual graphic element that is singled out as the brand icon. The new color palette jolts life into the brand and signals creativity, balancing between communicating expertise and playfulness. A clear and flexible typography positions Laud Media as not only Scandinavian, but also international. The core elements of the identity allow for experimentation and scalability, through illustrations, UX and motion.
